Planetary talismans should be used to attune your mind to the vibrations of the planet which governs the ritual or spell you are performing. Select either parchment paper or clean white paper write the numbers exactly as they are here, on the corresponding night during the correct phase of the moon. When finished pass your talisman through incense and sprinkle with salt to consecrate, then wrap in a clean cloth or place in a specially made bag representing the color correspondence of that planet.

PROTECTION AMULETS
One of the easiest to obtain is the Lodestone. Keep this in a red flannel bag in your pocket or around your neck.
To prepare for use place your lodestone on talisman paper on top of your BOS under the light of a Full Moon (if indoors your window must be open). Anoint it with Sabbat or Protection oil, one drop for each year of the bearers life plus one more for the coming year. With each drop of oil chant " May Danu bless me and protect me with all her might."
See each drop glow as it toches the stone. Tie the stone loosely with a red ribbon and seal with "So Mote It Be." Each month under the light of the full moon you will need to place your lodestone on the paper & BOS as before to feed it with iron pyrites. The stone and the magnetic iron pyrites can be purchased at any occult store.
You can also purchase a pentagram with or without a stone. Do not purchase something made out of led or pewter, it must be made of Gold or Silver. If you want to purchase one with a stone in it select either Amethyst or Obsidian. Both of these are good protection stones. You should consecrate it wth salt, water, air and fire, by the light of the Full Moon, then use the chant to Danu above while holding it in your hand and visiualising a glowing blue light surrounding and embedding itself in the pentagram and stone. Wear this around your neck and charge it each month. Make sure you clean your pentagram whenever it starts to look dull.
